Music Business Kids of America, Inc. Creates Access and Resources to Educate Youth on the Inner Workings of the Entertainment Industry
Nonprofit Founder Dāsha Ware’s Groundbreaking Industry Book Series Expands Across Georgia Schools and Public Library Systems
Atlanta, GA — As the Industry Book Series by Dāsha Ware continues its national expansion, the innovative learning resource has now become eligible for integration into Georgia public library systems and school libraries.
The Industry Series is the foundation of Music Business Kids of America, Inc., the nonprofit organization founded by Ware to equip youth with real-world music-business literacy and creative-economy education.
The youth-focused series was created to prepare young creators for the realities of the music industry before they step into it. Written in a relatable “big sister” voice, the books go beyond talent and dreams to focus on mindset, preparation, confidence, ownership, and long-term thinking. Each book builds on the last, guiding readers step by step from creative identity to real-world readiness and strategic decision-making.
The series was designed to close the gap between creativity and understanding by teaching young artists how the music industry actually works.
Four titles are currently published: Industry Mindset, Industry Ready, Industry Power, and Industry Careers. Industry Ready will be released on March 15, 2026, and Industry Careers will follow in April. Additional releases in what will become a 12-book series are scheduled through Fall and Winter 2026, including Industry Money, Industry Ownership, and Industry Contracts, among others. The Industry Series website will launch the evening of March 31.
The books in the Industry Series are currently available for purchase on Amazon. Beginning March 31, they will also be available for direct purchase through the official Industry Series website.
Entertainment is one of America’s most powerful global exports. Music, brand culture, storytelling, and youth-driven innovation shape markets, influence economies, and define identity worldwide. Creative influence travels across borders daily, setting global standards in sound, strategy, and scale.
The next generation needs the proper tools to participate within that ecosystem, and the Industry Book Series ensures they do so with power.
Designed for youth ages 10 to 24, the series introduces young people to both the practical and creative sides of the music business, including contracts, revenue streams, publishing, licensing, branding, negotiation, intellectual property, and long-term positioning.
Ware brings more than two decades of experience across music, marketing, publishing, and education. Her professional background includes early-career exposure at The Walt Disney Company and leadership across the music and consumer-branding ecosystems, including strategic contributions during Rap Snacks’ key expansion period.
“Fame is loud, while infrastructure is quiet,” said Ware. “I teach young people how to build what lasts.”
Ware delivers this philosophy directly to students nationwide through structured entertainment industry literacy classes, curriculum-based programming, mentorship, and immersive workshops, including programs across Georgia.
Through partnerships with Cr8tive Lyfe Studios, which supports homeschooling communities and collaborates with regional school systems, Music Business Kids of America, Inc. extends its programming into public middle and high schools by hosting educational assemblies and youth forums centered on music business literacy and career exploration.
Students move beyond aspiration and into real-world application through immersive experiences in professional environments, including curated studio tours and hands-on youth workshops at Patchwerk Recording Studios.
This work is further strengthened through collaborations with IdOMUSIC, Grow Your World, Southside Soul, Bring The Love Back (BTLB) Experience, and national community partners, creating a broader ecosystem of mentorship, creative development, and community-based opportunities that extend learning beyond the classroom and into real industry spaces.
“Seeing the Industry Series in libraries won’t just make me proud. It will make me grateful,” said Ware. “Because that means a young creator somewhere can pick up knowledge without needing permission, connections, or money. That’s how we change the industry — through access.”
