Fame is loud. Infrastructure is quiet. We teach young people how to build what lasts.
Music Business Kids of America was created in response to a gap that has existed in creative education for decades—young people are encouraged to pursue music, but rarely taught how the industry actually works.
Entertainment is one of America’s most powerful global exports. Music, brand culture, storytelling, and youth-driven innovation shape markets, influence economies, and define identity worldwide. Creative influence travels across borders daily, setting global standards in sound, strategy, and scale.
As access to music creation has expanded through technology and social media, youth are entering the industry earlier than ever before—often without the knowledge needed to protect their creativity, understand ownership, or recognize viable career pathways beyond being an artist. This lack of education leaves many young creators vulnerable to misinformation, exploitation, and missed opportunities.
Driven By Passion
Music Business Kids of America was founded to change that narrative.
Built at the intersection of education, entrepreneurship, and the music industry, our organization introduces students to the business side of music in a way that is age-appropriate, culturally relevant, and practical. Through curriculum, books, workshops, and school partnerships, we help youth develop the mindset, literacy, and confidence needed to navigate creative careers with clarity and intention.
At its core, our story is about early access—access to knowledge, access to opportunity, and access to a future where young creators are informed, empowered, and prepared long before their first contract or career decision.
“MBKA didn’t just teach my child about music — it taught them discipline, confidence, and how to think like a leader. I’ve seen real growth.”
— Monique Talley, MBKA Parent 💚
